A new chromebook cart system for ROHS has been established. For anyone who stumbles on this blog this may be beneficial for you and your building. When I was at ROMS we started a system where teachers did self-checkout via a Google Document for Google Chromebook carts. Carts were placed on each floor (6th grade, 7th grade and 8th grade). This seemed to work really well because then teachers could easily grab a cart in the morning and easily put it back in the afternoon for the next teacher. With ROHS being so big and the need for technology growing, it's apparent there is a need for a better system. We are starting the new system here at ROHS too! After MAP testing chromebook carts will be housed in departments for ease of use. Easy access to technology equates to more use of technology. Seems simple. Each cart has been organized and cleaned. A special thanks to Andrew B. our awesome technology point man for helping out. Cords have been zip tied in to prevent tangling, etc and are ready for use. Departments will receive Chromebook Cart Guidelines and Agreements soon.
